CLH Celebrates Success with the CLH Care Expo 2018

Last week, at Sandy Park Conference Centre in Exeter, the CLH team held their first care expo since 2010.  Running from Wednesday 14th March to Thursday 15th March, this two day event was an incredible success.
 

With attendees arriving from 9AM on both days, the #CLHExpo2018 was a resounding success, with care professionals, industry experts, and healthcare suppliers traveling from across the country to attend. The purpose of the event was to promote awareness of the wide range of healthcare products available from CLH and the suppliers that are used, in addition to educating on how each product range should be safely and effectively used.

The event comprised of over 21 exhibitors from within the healthcare industry, all of whom had stands, products on display, and had specialist experts available to educate attendees on the benefits and uses of their products.

Keynote Speakers
 

On each day of the CLH Expo, there were three keynote speakers in attendance, giving talks at 10am, 12 noon and 2pm. The first day of the event included talks from Annie Allsopp who discussed Pressure Ulcer Prevention, Bryan Evans who spoke about COSHH and General Cleaning, and Amanda Jenkins who discussed Moving and Handling. The second day’s keynote speakers included Angela Harding who spoke about Pressure Ulcer Prevention, Peter Studden who discussed Hand Hygiene, and Tracey Gauci who spoke about Infection Control.
 

Each keynote was interesting, informative, and highly useful for the attendees, as each of the six keynotes focused on a different area within the healthcare industry. The main aim of the CLH Expo was to educate the attendees on the wide range of industry-specific products available, which the keynotes were a vital part of.
 

 

Refreshments
 

Each attendee was also treated to a complimentary lunch as part of their place at the event. A buffet-style lunch was provided by the excellent catering team from the Sandy Park Conference Centre, comprising of a selection of sandwiches, salads, and canapes.

 

Fun had by all
 

Although the CLH Expo was a professional industry event, it was also a fun and enjoyable couple of days that were enjoyed by all. Not only did the expo promote a wide range of specialist products and offer training on those products, many exhibitors in attendance offered deals and discounts, live demonstrations, and were on offer to discuss any issues or concerns attendees had regarding their product range.
