Did you know there is new Waste Management Legislation that could affect your care home?
From 31st March 2025 in England there is new waste legislation that will mean businesses with more than 10 full-time employees must separate "recycling relevant waste" prior to collection. This means that the business will be responsible for the waste collected from their premises and must separate dry recyclables (which can be grouped together), food waste, and general waste.
Businesses will also not be able to use food waste disposal or food waste treatment equipment (for example macerators or enzyme digesters) to discharge food waste or liquid derived from food waste, to a drain or sewer.
That is why CLH have introduced this superb range of cost-effective recycling stations that not only make your waste disposal clear and confusion-free, but are also attractive enough (as far as bins can be!) to be placed front-of-house on display for residents & visitors as well as in the kitchen and other working areas.
