XD5 Classic Electric Profiling Bed, Chamois Oak with Side Rails

The all-new XD5 Classic bed from CLH uses a 'scissor-action' lifting mechanism to offer superior build-quality and design than traditional end-lift beds.  Where traditional beds come in either low or standard versions, the X-Type lifting mechanism used on the XD5 allows the bed to go low down to the floor (minimum height 26cm) as well as up to full-height for carer comfort (maximum height 80cm), an all-in-one bed!

With a steel frame finished in black epoxy and melamine-faced end boards complete with natural contrast-finished side rails and solid-wood hand rail on the foot-end, these beds can't fail to stand-out with their classy look and homely finish.  Offering very simple assembly using a patented easy-clip system, these beds also have the added benefit of no single piece weighing more than 20 kg - perfect if you have to carry upstairs or are likely to move from room-to-room at any point.  Taking approximately 10 minutes to assemble including fitting of the side-rails, the XD5 has an exceptionally well thought out design allowing for easy installation and a solid, sturdy finish.

This bed is offered with standard or high side rails.  Standard side rails are suitable for use in most cases but the higher side rail option is available when full depth 8" mattresses are being used on the bed.
